Comfortable, like a button on a shirt.

Our cabinet fittings had a pull rod with porcelain hardware and a bare lightbulb hanging down. This light is a great replacement for these. Ease of installation. The activation of the movement replaces the ugly and torn cord at the most inopportune moment. Lots of light, and it's a "cool" thing to walk up to a closet and automatically turn on the light. Additionally, there is an advantage of LEDs in lower cost and less heat. I took a chance that it would be a good replacement. Kicked out of the

Great pantry or cabinet light

My wife wanted to replace the light in our pantry so we went with LED lighting with motion detection as she always has everything to hand. Replacing the old light with this sleek LED light was easy and she is delighted with the results. It detects when the door opens and doesn't stay on for long unless you move inside. Also, this light is brighter than the 2-60w incandescent bulbs that were there and the spectrum is around 4000K which is whiter (but not bright white) making it easier to see all

Very sensitive motion sensor

I bought this to replace a bare lightbulb and ceramic socket with chain in a closet. It was easy to install and bright enough. The only problem is that the closet has double doors with a very thin gap and any movement outside the closet would turn on the light. I had to stick it with a piece of paper to partially cover the motion sensor, not ideal but you shouldn't return the light. I'm just not sure if I'll be buying them for the other 3 cabinets I have. Replace ALL your manual lights (pull chains/pulley switches) with these!

Motion sensor available. I replaced two lamps in my chain drawer cabinet with this product and added a third in my kitchen/pantry. Very easy to install, inexpensive and very bright! The light stays on for more than 30 seconds when you move. No false alarms or flickering. I'd like the N option of 30 seconds, 3 minutes, 5 minutes, etc. But it's so useful it's not that well developed. Pretty cool when those double doors start to open before you can flip a switch or pull a chain! I've tried the…

Easy replacement of a lamp on a chain

For many years I wanted to replace a lamp on a chain that was hanging precariously from the ceiling in our boy's bedroom closet. The main closet reno caused a problem because we need to put a lot of stuff in there. I came up with this idea for a motion activated light, read the reviews and went with it. The swap was easy (except for the limited space) considering I had an existing metal box and associated wiring. The mounting holes matched the 1967 mounting box once I rotated the motion sensor…

Great light for my tool cabinet!

We bought an old house from 1942 and are busy renovating and modernizing it to bring it into the 21st century. This little guy is part of my new shop lighting. Installed in a dark closet that used to house an oil tank and now houses many of my tools, it turns on and off automatically, providing just enough light for this small space. I love it. I encountered a difficulty during installation. This light has keyhole screw slots for a standard round ceiling box, but does not fit the single tape…

More convenient and wonderful than I imagined

I am renovating an old 1967 ranch style home and when I bought it about 3 years ago the appraiser told me that the exposed fairy lights in all the closets were gone the code. Since my closets don't have light switches, I essentially have to replace them with a different type of cord tightener. I figured something motion activated would be ideal and even went so far as to buy a battery powered lightbar with motion detection. . and it sucks. It barely illuminated the area and I had to wave my…
