We bought an old house from 1942 and are busy renovating and modernizing it to bring it into the 21st century. This little guy is part of my new shop lighting. Installed in a dark closet that used to house an oil tank and now houses many of my tools, it turns on and off automatically, providing just enough light for this small space. I love it. I encountered a difficulty during installation. This light has keyhole screw slots for a standard round ceiling box, but does not fit the single tape box I previously installed for it and my other stores like lights. I found that I could use the round hole to mount the light with wall anchors as well as one of the keyholes, but the light doesn't really center on the box so I had to be very careful to ensure the wiring did did I not get pinched when tightening the fastener. Last comment. The luminous color is blue at 5000K. It's ok for a shop cabinet, but not so good in a living room or closet. When installing similar lighting in my three bedroom closets and side hall, I look for a similar fixture with a warmer light between 3000K and 4000K.
