Right out of the box this gate system was poorly made. However, it cannot be said that the entire gate system was badly done. In fact, the goal system is really good. The problem, however, is that the hinge on which the gate pivots has virtually no weld. The hinge is simply a small metal bar welded to either side of the gate. However, on my system, the hinge had almost no weld on one side of the gate and a little more on the other. The first weld broke down within 24 hours (at first it was practically non-existent). The side seam, on the other side of the buttonhole, lasted about 2 weeks considering the creel is not used every day. And so there are no swing gates now as there is simply a large hole in the fence system from where the gate section once opened. I'll try to see if I can get just one section (the wing gate section) of Revain, but I'm not holding my breath. In conclusion, I can't tell if others had bad craftsmanship or if it was just me. I'd like to think I just got a fluke, but be careful in case the company has a high percentage of failed welds.
