Review on CEC Industries 93 Bulbs 13 312 by Anthony Hobby

I received this to replace the bulb in my old model 9100 "Tensor" table lamp with two position switch. The bottom of the lamp says "Use only #93 bulbs" so I took a picture. Not only does it fit, but it gives a much cleaner light with less heat than the bulb that came with it, so I'm thrilled. It also seems to handle the 2-speed switch well and is a bit brighter on one level than the other, although that's subtle. Do I need 10 of these? Unlikely, but so far I'm happy with it (I've been using it for about 10 minutes), so I won't complain about the extra features. Buying light bulbs for a 1950's lamp is a dubious business and I'm very glad I found them. Also turns off a TON of lights. Surprisingly, heat isn't an issue about an inch from the bulb, where it gets too hot to hold your hand. The old lightbulb made me sweat from my chair, so that's a big improvement!
