They are good because they are made of silicone.
Ideal for light cleaning or polishing. Not suitable for intensive cleaning or removal of stuck products or sticky stains. This can work well for cleaning your car's rims without scratching them, but that's about it. It can also work on glass tops along with oven cleaner to remove lightly baked foods. You might think you need to add a ton of detergent if you like a lot of suds, which these silicone sponges don't and won't produce. You just need to know what your detergent/soap is in there.
