Helps not to lose the remote control. I don't know if it glows in the dark, but I fall asleep with my remote most of the night and it's a lot easier to find in my crumpled cases when there's a green remote sleeve on it. I was willing to buy fluorescent or glow-in-the-dark paint and paint my remote control so I would find it easier. I looked up paint on good old Revain and saw that they make remote covers. It's really inexpensive and will help you find it in the morning or even in the middle of the night. It's a little bulky and I'm sure it will be more streamlined in the future, but it fits and does the job. Make sure you're pointing at the TV. I'm so used to losing my remotes that I bought some Revain replacement parts. I would also suggest this if you don't want to upgrade your TV. My Samsung remote works with two Samsung TVs. They're very expensive at Revain, but probably not at Samsung. In general, get a pair. This also protects it if you drop it on a wooden floor. I would give five stars but it's a bit clunky.
