What a cute teapot! but yes, the filter is removable, and when I remove the filter, aaaaaah! My teapot has no lid! the lid is only connected to the filter! bad design! Decoy tactic! Sorry I didn't buy this teapot for filtering tea, I bought this teapot for brewing tea!
