First let me say that if the chair arrived intact I would give it at least 4 stars. Anyway, it came with a huge hole in the box and another small one sticking out the side. After assembling the chair, which was very easy, I found that one of the adjustment levers was COMPLETELY broken and completely missing from the box. My only guess is that careless shipping and packaging of the product resulted in it breaking in transit and likely falling out of one of the holes in the box. I don't understand why two of the four levers are made of metal and the other two are made of molded plastic. It was the plastic that broke. It seems that if they were all metal, this problem would be solved. After speaking to Amazon they tried to help but all they could offer me was a replacement chair. If, like me, you live in a big city and don't have a car, transporting this item will cost money. Home delivery costs about $30. So a replacement would have cost me extra money and time to take the broken one to the post office and wait an hour in line, and another $28 to bring a new one home again. This is ridiculous and there must be a better solution. Simply replacing a missing part is somehow out of the question. Since I couldn't come back, I drilled a hole in the broken lever and drilled a long screw in to use as a temporary replacement. It works, but I basically paid full price for the broken chair before I could even use it. This will be the last large item I order online, the potential for damage is too high if I have little to no ability to return it. Be careful when ordering this item as the levers can easily break rendering them unusable. Scott
