I actually got this while trying desperately to get extremely painful lumps (felt like someone was stabbing me and twisting a hot knife of acid in both traps) caused by Fibromyalgia and overuse. I got EXCLUDED! So I ordered this figure, even if it doesn't help, it wouldn't bother me, and I'm getting a new toy from it. It was a surprisingly good buy. It definitely helped with knots, although it didn't really help them. It's definitely NOT a "quiet whisper," which I wasn't really expecting for $35. It has decent battery life. When charging you have to be careful when plugging in the cable if you want it to remain waterproof and with mine you have to be careful to position it correctly or it won't charge (easy enough as it lights up when charging), it's waterproof as much as i've tested (a few times in the shower/bathtub). I've used it on my back a lot when riding to and from tournaments, it's a bit embarrassing if anyone notices, but for me it's worth it for the pain relief. Surprisingly decent features. Overall, it's totally worth the $35 I paid for it, even though I've only used it for sore/knocky muscles so far.
