Review on Contigo AUTOSPOUT Straw Ashland Water Bottles Review: 24 oz, Scuba & Smoke, 2-Pack by Drew Panah

I've been using these Contigo water bottles for YEARS and they're great. From time to time I ruin one when my husband puts it in the dishwasher without my knowledge and it melts from the heating element so I have to buy a new one. This time I bought a twin pack > they were fine for a couple of weeks but when I cleaned one this morning the spout wouldn't open and when I moved it by hand I saw it was falling apart and a tiny piece of plastic broke. out. I hope the seller will replace one of the twin packs. If so, then I change the score back to five starts. $10 water bottles were supposed to last more than a few weeks which leads me to suspect this bottle was defective and maybe the plastic was already cracked when I got it and it took a while to fix after a few uses and hand washing completely collapsed. Please note that at first I was disappointed that I had to switch from 32-oz. Bottle up to 24 oz. BUT the downside is it now fits in my car cup holder and THAT I LOVE.
