Although these tubes are about twice the price of standard Bell bike tubes (ASIN: B000AAYBI2 for 27" / 700c 28-32mm), they are definitely much better made. At first I thought since both are made in China the differences in quality would be somewhat similar. After all, it's just some rubber. Or is it? The two looked almost the same, although the Bell whistles were pretty much junk. I bought 5 of these tubes and 3 of them are within a week broke, another broke after a month and the last one went in the trash. Didn't even want to mess with it, although it only takes about 20 minutes to change the hose (after all, time is money) At first I thought it was on the way I installed the hose, or that it doesn't fit my bike, but after reading the reviews it seems that the Bell hoses can't put a lot of pressure on d Drain the hoses before they tear at the seams. This is exactly what has happened to me in almost all of these tubes at pressures up to 68-70psi. Even without a visual inspection you can feel the difference to the Bell. They have much thicker walls than the Bell, which is probably why they hold up pressure better without cracking or crushing. I'm actually quite glad the chambers are specifically pressure tested as that seems to be a big problem when you can get cheaper Bell tubes. On Bell tubes, I literally think every time I ride, hoping the tires don't go flat while I ride. Unfortunately, Bell cams have this problem every 2-3 rides and I almost expected a flat tire to occur, although I've never had a flat tire on my front tire (the cam has never been changed). I hope they last and I don't have to use the warranty for them, but it's still better than buying 5 cheaper bulbs and replacing them every week, which is getting pretty ridiculous to be honest.
