I bought this in hopes of reducing quilting time on the machine. It didn't work like my JUKI 600 due to the low JUKI shank. The machine was stuck due to a large amount of fabric. My son made an attachment (grey cylinder) that works with the Quilting Foot (Open Type) (P/N 40080949). You can buy this type of presser foot for most machines. Basically, you can adjust the spring on the sewing foot, which leaves enough room for the fabric and pattern to slide, making pattern sewing easier. The illustration also shows the presser foot (white) and pattern.
