Review on SoHo Urban Artist Stone Bag for Tripod or Easel - Stand Bag, Weight Bag, Hammock Boom Anchor - Enhances Stability & Storage, Black with Red Trim by Dawn Fischer

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Fits perfectly with my Manfrotto tripod

Practical bag for tripod stability. Holds a quart water jug well which weighs 8 pounds making the platform much more stable. I suggest a maximum weight of 8-10 pounds, which should be sufficient. The bag folds nicely when the tripod is closed without additional adjustments. Creates a convenient tray for storing accessories such as lens caps, remote control, flash, etc. while shooting. The inside of the fabric has a rubber vinyl coating that can be wiped clean if necessary. The straps fit well and are adjustable. The red finish also goes well with my Manfrotto 502AH head! A good buy that I don't want to part with. The delivery was quicker than I expected.

Pros
  • INFO: Stone bags were originally developed as a counterweight for extra stability when using a tripod. Today, however, the use of stone bags has expanded to provide the artist with additional storage space for supplies while working in the field, making the SoHo stone bag an ideal accessory for outdoor artists and photographers alike.
