Review on 35-50HP NorTrac 3-Pt. Snow Blower - 72In.W Intake | BE-SBS72G by Justin Heynoski

Revainrating 4 out of 5

It isn't perfect but its good enough for ski country!

I live in Steamboat Springs Colorado. Ski country! We get about 350" of snow per year and my driveway is about a 1/2 mile. This thing can get used 3 times per day in heave snow storms. Excellent value! I would purchase this again. The one thing I don't like about this snowblower is there is no way to lower the snowblower all the way to the snow once you've built up a snow base. Unfortunately it leaves about 1/2 to 1 inch of snow on the ground and after a year this means about 8" of snow has built up. (Not fun to clean up in the summer) There would be 2 ways to get around this. You could cut off the non-removable shoes or add a cutting edge. Neither are super convenient but probably necessary if you get a lot of snow.

Pros
  • I've put it together after receiving all the parts but have not used it yet because of no snow. ok
Cons
  • The 72-inch intake on this snow blower is quite large, making it difficult to maneuver in tight spaces, such as small driveways or narrow walkways
