Review on Auxbeam Lights Replacement Wrangler Brackets by Charles Mistretta

2019 Jeep JL Sahara Unlimited: First off, let me say that I would give these lights 5 stars for 'easy to install' if they came with some instructions, but I have seen some Chinese instructions and the lack of instructions is many times superior to their instructions. Just a few questions. The lights come with two plastic brackets. One on top of the other in a box and a light inside. It took me a while to see what they were doing as there was no way the light came on with what I thought was a bracket but there were two. Turns out you had to loosen one of the mounts by loosening the set screw and pulling the outer mount out of the inner mount, which in my case fitted my JL. With that sorted out, I set out to gain access to the OEM headlights. You don't have to remove the bumper like some say, but see my note at the end of this article.2. You don't have to remove anything other than the plate covering the light node. To do this, remove the plastic strip behind the bumper. About 7-8 push pins.3. Once this is removed there are 6-8 push pins holding the fairing in place and an annoying plastic pin that makes removing the fairing difficult, but it works, and loosening the rear and under bumper stone guard helps. There are some large push pins and some 7 and 8 metric screws holding it in place.4. With the plate removed you have access to 4 7mm screws holding the mounting bracket. Only one headlight has to be removed and a new one installed. Use the pigtail that comes with the headlights and will work for your lighting system. After installing it, I waited until it got dark to see if any adjustments were needed before zipping it up. As luck would have it, mine didn't need anything and are back together. Let's see how much light there will be in the countryside where there are no city lights, but they seem bright enough and go well with the previously installed LED headlights. Next come the running lights/indicators. FYI there is a youtube video showing how to do this installation by removing the bumper, but the person who made this video also stated that the bumper does not need to be removed and it shows, how to install as i did. It was a help with this setup.
