Great for the home cook
This set of knives is ideal for the novice cook. They are lightweight and easy to use. So you can cut and chop for a long time without getting tired. My only concern is durability. They're a little thinner than my Wüsthof, but not by much. On the plus side, they hold their edge almost as long as Wüsthof. The block looks great on the countertop and the scissors are a great addition. Overall, you can't beat the price for what you get.
