The metal material and workmanship of the part is actually quite good. However, actually attaching this to the end of a garment (in my case it was a light jacket) is very difficult and depends entirely on what you have to work with and how the end of the original zipper was made and/or what became the original zipper leave. I got it working, but I know it won't last long - not because of the detail itself, but because there was almost no material on the jacket's zipper to work with. It's a good thing that there are a lot of snaps in the packaging, because I had to break one to understand how best to put it on and, above all, how to hold it. Again, it depends on the amount of material you have to work with. Squeezing with pliers or even a vice was not enough - I also used a small metal punch - I think that's how the originals are put on with a machine punch. But it has to be a very small perforator. YMMV for sure - you won't know the result until you try.
