My husband's 90-year-old mother got all the scarves, jewelery and little things she needs for her birthday. This year, for her birthday, I tried something different - bought her this prayer frame and included a photo of my husband and his sister when they were kids living in their old house. My mother in law LOVES it! She's usually an introvert, but she told me this is her favorite gift because it's personal and heartfelt (unlike the other scarves!) and reminds her of happy times. Now she's hanging it up in her living room and showing it off to all her friends when they come over! Solid wood frame, good quality. I particularly like the poem "A prayer for my mother" because it describes my mother-in-law with the letter "t" - strong, loving and always there for her children throughout their lives. She is a special person and I'm glad I made this purchase.
