Review on Armen Living Mid Century Leather Barstool by Brian Sobirov

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Nice style but not that durable

I read the reviews before purchasing and some of the reviews said it was solid and others said it was wobbly. I couldn't find any other bar stools that looked mid-century, had a low back, and pushed all the way in, so I took a chance and bought two. They were assembled by my husband who knows how to make furniture. Well, one was wobbly and the other was firmly planted on the ground. So I think the problem is that they are not consistent in terms of production. I've added extra felt padding to the shortest leg of the wobbly chair and it's enough for now, but both chairs still don't feel entirely solid. People over 200 pounds may feel uncomfortable wearing these things. I use them for my kids and they will do the trick for their little frames. They look good, although the faux leather needs a wipe down after greasy baby hands or spills.

  • Great choice
Cons
