I bought these water socks to take on vacation to Florida. I wore them everyday to wear to the beach and to walk around the hotel. They work very well for walks on the beach. My feet stayed free of sand, and when the sand was hot from the sun, they kept me from getting burned. But what I didn't like was the lining in the sneakers. The balaclava moved when putting on and taking off the shoes. Taking out the insole makes it less irritating, but without the insole, my feet get hot when I'm walking on hot sand or hot wood floors. I used the socks for 8 days and they have held up very well. No holes and they have held their shape and I have had many compliments.
