I recently bought a Honda Civic EX coupe 08 for my family (tired of car sharing) and needed a way to mount my iPhone 7 Plus. Many magnetic phone mount reviews point out that the mount cannot support the weight of a larger phone (some with iPhone Plus, larger Samsung devices, etc.). I finally decided to pull the plug and I'm 1000000000% glad I did. I installed the magnetic piece on my Spigen Liquid Air Armor case and the magnetic mount catches and holds my phone securely even with the case on! No hopping, nothing. My tires either need to be balanced or replaced because my phone shakes a bit while driving, but not so much when it's uncomfortable to look at. I also didn't try to tighten the loop/locknut on the back of the mount. Hm. Maybe there is a solution. But it doesn't fall, doesn't move at all, even after driving over the biggest potholes and the bumpiest roads. I'm on vacation but when I get home I'll post a photo of where I put the mount (it was pretty hard to figure out where to put it lol). I would absolutely recommend this as I am incredibly confident that this will last a phone even longer than mine!
