I bought these leggings a large size and wore them daily for a month with constant exposure to moisture. Within three weeks they had serious problems (zipper jammed and teeth not tight, as well as tissue breakdown at the base in the lower part). While I believe I bought the right size for myself, any pair of winter pants or bulky rugged snow boots or extra large rubberized outdoor boots will be too big for this product, also if you have meaty calves this can also pose a problem. The strap at the top of the gaiters is too thin to properly enclose the foot with a single contact strap to keep it in place during all crouch and stand movements. The leggings kept slipping and pinching my pants even when I was just walking after a few minutes. The quality of the zipper is poor, don't believe for a second that it is reliable or can resist dirt and grime even if it is cleaned before/after opening the zipper. And the most egregious flaw of this product is the black fabric in the base. THIS IS NOT WATERPROOF! Any moisture and moisture that touches and runs down the surface of the top of the gaiters is then absorbed and absorbed into the base fabric, keeping your boots/shoes/socks wet and damp hours after exposure to moisture. Also, at the base of the ankle, this material started to layer from the inside if the zippers hadn't failed in the first place, I'm sure the fabric would have failed next. Thanks to the product, the bottom strap was solid (I doubted it would hold and not come loose) and I had no issues with it becoming loose, slipping, or breaking despite walking on rough terrain, including sharp ones wet rock in times of time. Time. I don't know of a better product, but the production of this product is so poor that future consumers will not play if their purchase satisfies their needs.
