This is my second set of these lights. The first sentence seemed short. They lit up for a few seconds and then went out. The seller sent me a replacement and I sent the first set back. My second kit works great! They turned on automatically about 10-20 seconds after turning them on. The remote control has no markings, so at first you will be surprised when you press the buttons. There are different ads. They are perfect for my almost 10 year old daughter who loves to dance and has fun sleepovers. Definitely worth buying.
