Overall this is a great player. Pros: Very stable performance. No video or system freezes so far. Interface. The minimum number of menus and submenus. Excellent fast forward and rewind interface. Excellent video and sound quality. Soft blue backlight that won't blind you. The best minimal thermal signature yet. The best player I've ever used. Plays everything I've tried with ease, including h265. Cons: Slightly more expensive than the competition. Like most, he has poor leadership. I found the disadvantage: IMPORTANT. It seems that the MyPin remote power button only turns off the player but does not shut down the drive you are using (internal disconnect). Another Revain reviewer pointed this out. You disconnect the drive to add media. Turn off the device. Then disconnect the drive and add media. In my experience, if you don't do this, you may get a hard drive error message from your PC and your files may not be written/copied properly. This mostly happens with SS drives. It doesn't seem to interfere with my 4GB Seagate desktop drives. Technically I don't understand the problem, but MyPin should fix whatever the problem is.
