Review on Powerful and Portable GVM Great Video Maker 80W LED Light – Perfect for Video Recording, Children Photography, and Outdoor Shooting by Hector Smith

I am a professional photographer/videographer. These 80W GVM LED bulbs are not only brighter than comparable bulbs (Godox SL60W, Neewer 60W LED), they are also smaller, lighter and quieter. Perfect for the location shoots I do for my clients. They don't have all the bells and whistles of Godox or Neewer (no remote control or LCD screen on the back). But honestly, I don't miss her. On both the Neewer and Godox, the brightness dial on the back of the flashlight takes a few turns to increase the light intensity without offering any real benefit in terms of fine adjustment. The only reason I don't give the GVM flashlights five stars is that the included 7" reflectors - with the Bowens mount and good light amplification - don't go for the standard 7" reticles. They are a little too small. I tried two different sets of grids and neither worked. I had to buy two new 7" Bowens reflectors just to be able to use the nets. I would also like to mention that when I had a problem with one of the power supplies, GVM was very quick to respond and sent me a new one within minutes .Great customer service! Speaking of power supplies, if you don't want to dangle them, I use a big, thick silicone strap to attach them directly to my stand.
