A bargain for a reason. Completely flat thin sole with no arch support. Padding is on the tongue and ankle area. First, it protects the upper part of the foot. Thicker/narrower toe. Bought because of another review that said the guy worked 12 hour shifts and these were the only shoes that didn't hurt his feet. My experience during my 12 hour shifts was the complete opposite. Not what was expected. Wouldn't recommend it.
