I was going to send this back - the documentation isn't great but once I figured out what was going on I was more than happy. I would give 4.5 if I could. I'll give the benefit of the doubt because I was able to get it to work exactly how I wanted for my setup. At first I had some issues with the HDMI Displayport cables. Direct to my monitor's HDMI from DP on the computer worked fine, but on two different computers connecting to KVM resulted in the displayport being disabled. I was able to get around this by using DVI-HDMI on one system and an inexpensive dual HDMI video card on another system (which is still better than onboard video) - the point is you need to find another way if you try DP escape. There is another version of this switch that supports DP+HDMI on each channel and in hindsight that might have been a better choice. The second problem I have is the bluetooth keyboard and mouse. I was able to get it to work from the USB port, but there is a lag with every switch. Once you understand what's going on, you're basically unplugging the USB every time you switch. I've found that it's easier to plug a bluetooth keyboard and mouse directly into the same system and use Mouse Without Borders, but then you'll either have to have a second keyboard or use a wireless switch. and if the computer you're connected to is offline, that's another problem. I ended up replacing my keyboard and mouse with wired versions. The third problem I had was that the new wired keyboard I bought didn't work - I couldn't find the tiny instructions that had to fall on the floor somewhere, nor could I find any documentation on this kvm the tesmart website. Looking at the instructions for KVM 1x4 I decided to enable keyboard/mouse pass-through - Srcoll Lock x2 F2 - it helped. While not perfect, it does everything it's advertised and overall I'm happy with my purchase.
