I had never heard of a weighted blanket until I heard on a talk show that it's a BIG thing about Christmas! Of course I came to Revain to see them. I wasn't ready for the price. BUT IT COST MUCH MORE! It was a deal! I received it and spent a couple of nights with my £20 duvet and decided to fold it in half to double my money! ((NOTE: I'm 5ft 7in and 170lbs)) I slept even better! The only thing that felt "stiff" was that the material is 100% cotton... so after a week I decided to put it in the wash and wash it to get it softer and " to make it smoother. I used a lot of Downy and put 4 sheets in the dryer! IMPRESSIVE! Doesn't matter! I brought it home and put it on the bed without folding it, it was BETTER than folded! He seemed heavier, but I'm sure that was because he could now "excite" around me instead of staying afloat on top! I also noticed that I didn't get HOT with it! I was really afraid of it because of some of the reviews I read. I'm 60, so I get good old "night sweats" sometimes and I usually sleep with just a sheet and a light comforter (NOT duvet). blanket), but I think because it's made of breathable cotton and tiny beads, it's not warm, just heavier.
