I ordered this for my wide porch entrance to keep my two dogs from leaving the porch. It is free standing, and while they would be able to knock it down if they were determined to get out, the fence creates a barrier they know not to go past and serves my purposes very well. My initial assessment is that these are a good value . They fit the Honeywell HPA300 snugly. The odor I read about in other reviews was not that strong and I could barely notice it after running the unit for a couple hours. Worth every penny! Took me about 45 minutes to put it together (was in no rush). Shelf is very sturdy & balanced on its own, though it does include optional wall mount brackets if you want to secure it to the wall. The shelves are strong and can definitely hold their weight. Each slat is supported with a metal bar that runs under it and connects to the frame for extra support. Appearance wise, it fits the description perfectly.
