I bought Playgro soft blocks for my 6 month old granddaughter. The blocks are very cute, with colorful fish and animals on the sides. I love that she can grip it with both hands which helps her with hand coordination. She loves turning them over to look at them from both sides. The blocks are softer, so a bit smaller than they are so she can pick them up easily, but not soft enough to chew on. I like that they are easy to clean as there are no small crevices to worry about and you can just wash them in the sink as they are water washable. When she is a little older, we can also put them in the bath as play toys so they can do double duty, and she can also learn to stack them on top of each other. I'm a fan of toys that do more than one thing and a really big fan of things that don't need batteries. These blocks really hit the mark in every way and I am very happy with my purchase.
