Very impressed with the Master Tailgaters HD DVR (MR-43-E2DVR2) I just installed. It was exactly what my wife wanted for her SUV as an integrated system. Automatically picks up the front mirror camera when you turn on the ACC / start the car. I added a rear view camera that turns on automatically when reversing. I did some research to find out the best way to make the connections required for my car (I was able to just open the slots in the front fuse box for the battery power wires and dashcam mirror battery - I have two Add A Circuit 2 uses amps), learned to accept with my OEM Toyota rearview mirror and took my time with the entire installation and wiring process. It took a day to install the DVR mirror and another day to install the rear camera. Picture quality is very good, and many custom features are available as part of the mirror's features, so you can customize it to suit your needs. The mirror is also touch sensitive. Comes with a small remote control designed to make various standby/line network settings in reverse mode only. I recommend that you install a rear view camera when you buy this model, where you can disable any lines/grids from the camera itself so that you can better use the lines/grids function from the DVR mirror and not have double lines. Note. You need to connect the green reversing signal wire to the front of the car for the mirror and also connect to the reverse light to power the rear view camera. Most likely I'll replace the rear camera I'm using (with solid lines) with another better quality rear camera with no lines. Overall very happy with this DVR mirror and looks like it came from the factory. I might end up getting another one of those DVR mirrors for my other Toyota vehicle just to get the front dashcam function. Much less forgetful and much easier than using my GoPro on the dash which drains the batteries every 2 hours.
