We heat the house with a gas block and were looking for something to ventilate a few rooms. We decided to try this fan with the idea of placing it in the top corner of a door frame. The first thing we noticed was that the fan is designed for quality. No rough edges, very strong materials for all components and easy assembly. All you have to do is attach the grilles, which are pretty nice and line up nicely with the holes in the fan housing. This model has a speed controller that works very smoothly over the entire range. Also comes with a bracket (also well made) and easy to install. The fan works really well. and moves a lot of air. There is some noise at high rpm, but not too much for the amount of air it's moving. Overall, the fan was easy to assemble, easy to install, and really surprised us with its performance and build quality. We plan to get another one. Maybe it will be a model with two fans. Good product.
