I bought this because there was free return and I'm looking for a nice leather backpack to fit my stuff and my baby's stuff. I liked all the storage compartments, but unfortunately the quality does not justify the price. The straps are only partially leather (the rest is nylon) and cannot be shortened enough to fit me (I'm 5ft 3in). In some places, the edges also look like a leather bag from Target (black rubber coating). To be honest, I can't tell if it's real leather. Maybe because some of the stitching looked like this on the inside, but the texture looks super fake. Maybe it's some cheap leather applied with a leather pattern that's very closely spaced? There are also threads sticking out on some inside seams. I'd rather buy the $35 leather at Target as I have a feeling it will age the same way with weird piping and it looks fake anyway. m return The search continues!
