These pens have a really fun outline effect with bright colors and good coverage. They popped up in a suggestion based on another grocery list, and while I hate the algorithm that tells me what to do, they looked weird, so I gave them a try. The effect is that the inside of your line is silver or gold (in fact I have both) with color on the outside. It makes the doodles look hilarious and my kids love writing their names in them. I have many creative ideas now. They work great on glass and dark paper. I definitely recommend thick paper as this is a drawing pen so it's definitely runny and will soak/warp regular notebook paper. The ink flow is smooth and even - after applying it to a piece of cardboard. There were no gaps and very minimal smudges, none after the first day of priming and use (the tip needs to be soaked in the ink a bit to keep it from running too fast). This is a great addition to our craft box.
