They would be great but I received a package with one open. First I noticed that one of them had torn off the top part. They were packaged in these little resealable bags, but they weren't actually sealed inside the packaging. I was lucky that those who had them before didn't notice and tore off the top. On closer inspection of the tunnels, lo and behold, there is all white slag there, and in the screw part as if they were worn out before. They also had the appearance of blurred fingerprints as if they had been treated. All the others were nice and shiny, there was no dirt on them and the tops of the packets were not torn off. Remember, be very careful when you order them you may receive a package with previously worn plugs. It's disgusting. Will come back for a refund and choose another seller to purchase. They are thick, the screws turn well and they were the right size. This would be a 5 star rating but there is an inherent danger if the pair has bacteria on them and someone has not properly sanitized them before wearing them. It's pretty sharp in the tunnel. Nothing that could hurt anything, but it's worth mentioning. The threads are also quite sharp, and it's also worth using a small piece of parchment to wrap the needle before inserting it into the ear so the threads don't dig into sensitive skin and allow it to heal again. It can prolong growth in size if inserted and removed repeatedly and often as needed for cleaning. It may not be worth it for some, but a small file and 400-grit sandpaper will remove the sharp edges without ruining the carving. I always recommend disinfecting or sterilizing anything in your ears. An ultrasonic cleaner and a good disinfectant or rubbing alcohol will do, but if someone else has been wearing them, decoction may be the solution. just know
