This Thing Is A Silent Tank - Define 7 XL

Although this case is a bit pricey, it's amazing! The shipping box showed some wear - it was sent by road to a Midwest warehouse for a few days due to adverse weather conditions. Maybe he was dumped once or twice. Absolutely no damage to the contents inside. The case is heavy but can be modified and customized to suit the needs of your build. Cable management is very easy. The only issue I had was the need for extension cords for the SATA data/power cables. I installed a spinning HDD and three SSDs in the cable area so I can place the fans underneath/hide the cables and remove the storage partition. I overdid it a bit with the RGB and fans, but with Phanteks Halo Lux I was able to connect and sync all the RGB fans with ease. With the exception of the AIO, all fans are connected to the built-in fan hub on the case. It's so roomy that I had no problem installing the AIO in a push-pull configuration. The three switched on fans are very quiet. The Define 7XL comes with removable front, bottom and top dust filters (they are entirely optional) so high static pressure fans are a must. Being old school, I had to place the optical drive on top. All the cable extensions were needed to get to the ATX MoBo on the back. By fitting all of the hardware into the case, I'm actually putting 60 pounds of weight on this thing. And there is enough space if I want to upgrade to full water cooling later. I really like this case, it has so many different configuration options. The only real downside is the price. This and how hard it is. I ended up attaching it to the wall above the table to clean the countertop and protect it from pet hair.
