I don't write very many reviews but I rely on these a lot (thanks to everyone who took the time to write) , so if I feel like there's something about the product that a potential buyer might want to know about, that they need to know about, that I'd like to return a favor about. Made from natural coconut, which is important to me as I don't like plastics/resins. There is a variety of sizes. So if you need them for different reasons, you can use many of them. Second, like many reviewers, I received probably half of what was promised. I didn't count them but spent a lot of time matching them and when they were all on the same tray they definitely didn't match the number given. Also, some of my favorites didn't go together, but I was able to find something in common with them, like a cap button that might have been sewn into the headband. painted on one side. These are neutral, natural colors on one side, then dark brown, black, white, red, orange, yellow, navy, gold, printed, etc. on the other side. About half were painted on one or both sides. And I wondered if the dye could transfer to clothes that I could sew on if I later washed those clothes. So I checked about six colored buttons. I put them on a plate between the napkins, wet the napkins, dripped soapy water on the napkins, and calculated the time for one hour. And indeed, most left the color of the paint on the napkins. So when it comes to needlework and sewing, WHEN CHOOSING COLORS, PAY ATTENTION TO THE USE IN SEWING. A brown button might work with brown fabric, but I wouldn't sew it on a white shirt. Vice versa. Ultimately I considered returning the buttons as I did not receive the promised number and color transfer. But there's "Not So Ugly." I wanted the buttons to attach to the toes of my boots and things like that, and after playing for half an hour trying to adjust them for several nights, I got so many cute ones found, I do not think I want to return them. Some are cute, like flowers or even two Hello Kitties (not for me, but adorable nonetheless), and some have a simple beauty. So I decided to keep them as the price is not that high. And one more thing, at first I was itchy to mix and match the buttons, but then it turned out to be quite fun, so it made me come up with something. I thought this might be a fun and inexpensive "game" for kids; Put them in a jar and put them on the table for a couple of kids and let them match them. You'll probably have more fun just looking at them. Just think. Wishing you all the best :)
