For the price these speakers are near perfect. They're bass-heavy, they can be separated (and other than these I don't know of any other speakers that can). They are loud and clear. The only downside is that the buttons on the top are very sensitive, making it difficult to transport. It's hard not to hear "8bitdooooo. Boodoodoop" all the time. If they sell a cover or maybe even a cap on the buttons so they don't keep being accidentally pressed while in the pocket then they would generally be ideal.
