Beautiful Deco Fan/Light

This is a cool fan. The frosted, bell-shaped fixture gives it an art deco look, and with the dark side of the slats down, it gives our office the feel of a very old gentlemen's club. Now if only I could afford a couple of leather armchairs. Took me just under an hour to install but my ceiling is a bit high so it's probably more than average. You can hook it up to a dual switch so one switch controls the fan and the other the light, or you can simply fit it in place of your existing ceiling light, in which case you will need pull chains to turn on the fan and/or the lights. The blades are reversible - although Westinghouse describes them as "apple tree" and "oak of the family", I think the dark side looks darker than I imagine apple tree, closer to teak. (The light side can be raw oak). A final note: it is designed for two bulbs with a maximum power of 13W each and comes with two compact fluorescent lamps. I swapped out two 13w LED bulbs and they work great, but I don't think you can use incandescent bulbs. In general we like it very much. It has a lot of light and fan power for our home office and looks very nice. Featured!
