Review on Thule Podium Foot Packs: Enhancing Vehicle Roof Rack Performance by Floe Rankin

After reading other reviews the first thing I did was open the foot kit and Podium Foot Pack boxes and looked through the instructions, I checked that all the parts fit together. together at the kitchen table so I can see how everything fits together before I put anything on my car. I was particularly interested in how the plastic connector attaches to the plastic shroud of the stand. As someone said, the instructions are mostly visual. But they did mention the "bump" on the fork. Just holding the cover and trying to insert a connector, I noticed a "bulge". The plug fitted the hole snugly, then I was able to rotate the plug clockwise with my fingers and find where the inner end of the plug should go in and "snap" (snap) into the leg. I was able to remove the connector by pushing it off the back of the Podium footrest with my thumb. When I put it on my car I think it should hold tight as long as it "snaps" into place.
