Review on Shandus Anti Slip Protector Adjustable Reflective Dogs by Terri Owen

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Too funny! Mixed results.

Our heavy elderly dog slips and spreads his wings on our vinyl covered kitchen floor so I decided to try these boots. I put them on my hind legs as they slide the most. she likes them! She huddled in the kitchen and seemed very pleased with her new shoes. I took her outside but she slipped on the ice so there was no help with traction. However, they stayed on their hind legs in the snow. Later, while I was baking in the kitchen, I almost had a heart attack when I heard someone walking behind me and no one was home. I forgot our dog and his noisy boots! Then our poor dog was lying on a blanket with a loop of yarn and couldn't get up! The velcro straps on her shoes stuck to the carpet she was lying on and she was stuck! I nearly died laughing as she tried to jump around the kitchen, dragging the rug on her hind legs. She's fine, if not a little embarrassed. So if your house is all wood and has smooth floors, maybe these boots will help with traction. If you have carpets and rugs - it doesn't help that much if your dog's prey gets stuck to textiles! If they are not properly fastened, the shoes will slip and can become detached. I got these booties for free in exchange for this review.
