I rarely read manuals and don't usually need to. Consumer devices are pretty basic, at least the ones I buy. This is no ordinary camcorder and a quick look at the manual didn't really help. So read it and then watch a YouTube video of a man going through his surgeries. This will help you avoid disappointment. If in doubt, use reset. It's not marked on my device, but the video shows where to insert the reset key. After I did the reset everything was fine. I turned on the camera, clipped it to my shirt pocket, and headed to Lowe's to buy dirt. When I came back and transferred everything to my laptop via the card reader slot, there were a bunch of files, every about 5 minutes. The whole journey was there, and if I needed seamless video, I could use FireShot or some other open source video editing software to stitch it all together. This is an inexpensive camera that delivers amazing image quality. As a body cam, she does what is expected of her. If you need to operate the camera for a long period of time, you should bring a power source with you for charging, e.g. B. an external battery. I had a total of 185 minutes of video in 37 5 minute clips from a full load. Be sure to use FAT32 when formatting the card. This will, of course, erase everything on the card. I was able to write to the card before formatting it, so I'm not sure if you should do that. After formatting, insert the card into the camera and reset it. This places the folders that were removed by formatting back on the card. If you get stuck along the way and don't know how to get out of here, use your email address and ask for help. Serious. This is very good support. I was very surprised. Expect response delays depending on where you are and when you contact them. If it's 8am here, it's 9pm there, so keep that in mind and just be nice. They will solve your problem. I was convinced my device was defective but their support helped me and got me back to work. The support team's English is much better than I've experienced in the past and they are really patient and professional and will get you out of your problem.
