The file closes about every 5 minutes so they must be combined on the computer to be viewed as one video. VLC cannot open them, says they are corrupt. Now I'll have to wait God knows how long to find out if it even works. Grrr.

BOTH RETURNED. Absolutely a hit or miss item. I got one of them to work on a recording session. But it's impossible to know if a device is working or not without looking at the dumb lights and trying to figure out what each one means. If you need to TRUST your body cam, this article is NOT for you. It's a nice toy for the money. For security reasons, look elsewhere.

The location of the record on/off button is too easy to operate by simply moving or pointing the camera. The button should either be at the bottom of the camera or require more than one click to start and stop recording. We missed many events because the camera was moved and recording was accidentally turned off. This is a design flaw of the camera. Instead, we get a GoPro.

This camera rarely works, several times the picture quality was terrible. I tried using this on a trip (yes I read the instructions over and over again) and didn't receive a video of it. All I got was all blue lights staying on until the battery died. Pressing any or all of the buttons did nothing, the light wouldn't turn off until the battery died, and then it wouldn't charge. Useless.

Update: The seller tried very hard to fix the problem and the problem has since been fixed. Now I have a working product that does what it promises. Can't get too worked up about the sound and picture quality for the price, these are handy little cameras. This little camera would be very useful if it worked more than once. DO NOT BUY THESE CHARACTERS. That's a waste of money. I used this as a camcorder while cycling. The plastic feels really cheap and flimsy, and the so-called good magnet on the back doesn't last very long. I charged the battery and rode the bike to try it out.
