I bought this bottle to drink enough water every day. I generally don't drink water and prefer drinks like hot tea with honey and diluted juice. I try to drink pure water, but I'm having a hard time keeping track of how much. And I really hate buying it in pre-packaged bottles because it just adds to more waste in our landfills. I like the label on it as it makes it easier to track my consumption. The outside of the bottle is soft and smooth, it is comfortable to hold. The lid closes and does not leak. As for the clip, I don't see it as a problem if I drink. I didn't have him nudge me or get in my way. The spout seemed small at first, but after drinking it became more fitting. I didn't feel like drinking water. The lid also has a locking feature to keep it closed even when tipped over. It also has a strap attached to it, making it easy to wear. After a day of use my kids were jealous and asked if they could have bottles too so they could make sure they were drinking water too. There were different colors but were very happy to get their own. My daughter washed it right after she was born and used it straight away. My son feels good knowing he's going to do something healthy.
