So I ordered a size 44 because that is usually my size at Ecco. Just before I ordered I went to the Ecco store and tried on 4 different styles and got 44 points. Unfortunately, they didn't have this style for me to try out. When I got them and tried them on in 1944, they were too tight. I returned them and ordered a 45. This one fits a lot better but is still a little tighter than I like near the toes and on the sides/top of the foot. Maybe it's because I'm used to wearing Nike Free and I'm used to the feeling of not having shoes anymore? In any case, I would rate the wearing comfort with 3 out of 5 (so far). I hope and think they stretch a bit after wearing and could be a 4 for comfort. I've only worn them a few times so far. They seem to have a bit of leather so I'm sure they will feel more comfortable. I would rate the look a 5. I hate looking like everyone else so I chose them as my everyday shoes and refuse to wear Vans. The build quality of these shoes is impressive. I can truly say that a lot of work goes into making these shoes. This is probably why they are at a higher cost level. I would say the Ecco sizing chart is pretty accurate as I remember it saying 11 to 11.5 for a size 45 and I usually wear 11.5 with Nike. It's just that I usually wear a size 44 on Ecco, not a size 45, so if you're comparing to previous Ecco copies, go up a size. If not, use the size chart and you will be fine.
