I didn't expect overwhelming performance from these speakers and I didn't get it! I wanted a clear, crisp sound that I could enjoy on the rare occasions when driving my 1989 Project truck. This is a significant upgrade to the OEM paper speakers in my Dodge Dakota 89 2-door and the value for money is exactly what I needed and expected. I'm sure I could get even better performance from them if I added an amplifier, but what I'm getting from them now is better than expected and good enough for my needs. I would buy them again without hesitation.
