The new model of this surge protector from Sanus is not designed to plug a surge protector into an outlet. So sad because this is the feature I look for in all network filters I buy. Why do I need a surge protector that pulls out of the outlet (plug) when I remove the element connected to the surge protector? As a result, anything I connected to it loses its power. In some situations, I cannot hold the surge protector while unplugging it. The older model is better as it can be plugged into an outlet. I'm taking off one star because I couldn't fix the problem without replacing the voltage regulator.
