Overall I am happy with this purchase. There are a few pitfalls to be aware of when using this setting. First, the needle valve barely handles the recommended 20psi on a fully filled tank. I had to crank it hard after a normal close to keep the CO2 at 30ppm in my 16 gallon tank and use bubble counter glycerin to keep evaporation down. Second, when you first add water to the citric acid/baking soda, CO2 is produced very quickly, which can foam out of the tank before you even screw the cap on. It is best to add this water slowly. Third, you need a base to keep the tank from tipping over. BUT, if you can live with those things, for me it was handy compared to +$30 for a traditional CO2 refill and a trip to the brewhouse. The device itself and parts are surprisingly well made for Chinese production and come with all the necessary hoses, diffuser, suction cups etc. Would I buy again.
