These headphones are close to perfection. This is my second pair of V-Moda crossfades but my first wireless set so I already knew how comfortable they would be and how great they would sound. Pairing was easy. The battery life is better than I expected. identical to my previous crossfade set. I use them regularly and can sing their praises for heels. Even when the headphones are switched off, the sound insulation is excellent. I can sit in a noisy cafe and they deaden the sound perfectly. The built-in microphone is suitable for calls. Not as good as AirPods, but they're designed around a microphone, so that's to be expected. I just wish the volume control was more granular. I've managed to protect my hearing fairly well over the years and the lowest volume is about in the middle of my comfortable listening range. I'd like 2 or 3 levels of silence down so I can have just a little bit of background noise with the banks on. On the high end, when I turn the volume up to about 1/3 of the max, these things are as loud as I'm comfortable. It's a volume I can't comfortably endure for more than a few minutes. So if you already have hearing loss, yes they are loud enough.
