Suitable for light snow, but not for deep snow.
Used them for a trip to the snowy mountains where the snow was above my knees. While they kept my son's feet dry, I had to tuck his pants into his shoes to keep his ankles dry. The upper part of the shoe is not waterproof. The fit was just a tad small so I would go up a size. All in all I have no regrets but will most likely buy another pair next winter that are totally waterproof.
